Installing the LS0311
- 01Drill or use an existing ≈71 mm hole in the tank lid, no more than 3 m above the maximum water surface.
- 02Fit the sensor and tighten the threaded collar — the ultrasonic transducer faces the water.
- 03Connect the 3.40 m sensor cable to the included 5 V / 1 A voltage converter and plug it in.
- 04Pair in the Tuya Smart / Smart Life app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (Bluetooth 5.2 assisted) and set the tank height.
- 05Set high and low level alarm thresholds and enable push notifications.

Does the LS0311 need batteries?
No. The LS0311 is mains powered through the included 5 V / 1 A voltage converter, so it does not require battery changes; confirm update behavior at the installation site. For tanks without a nearby outlet, choose the battery-powered LS0312.
What comes in the LS0311 box?
The standard kit includes the ultrasonic sensor with 3.40 m cable, the 5 V / 1 A voltage converter and an extension cable — ready for retail packing under your own brand.
What happens to the LS0311 during a power cut?
Monitoring requires power and a suitable Wi-Fi connection. Test reconnection after power and network interruptions. Battery-powered LS0312 still needs an operating router to report to the app.
