Each of these changes the product itself, so it is quoted and approved separately from branding work. Send the brief early — these decisions shape the enclosure, the board and the manual together.

  • New enclosure or structural change

    A different housing shape, size or mounting interface means new tooling, trial parts and a revision process you approve stage by stage.

  • Circuit board development

    Changed functions, interfaces, power behaviour or components are developed as a modified board, documented for the exact model rather than inherited from a similar one.

  • Custom app, API or dashboard

    Your own application, data feed or fleet/depot view is separate software development with its own responsibilities, hosting and service terms.

  • Other radio or network versions

    Cellular, other low-power networks or a third-party hub integration need availability, coverage and service checks for your market before any commitment.

  • Power arrangement changes

    Switching between an external supply and a battery build, or changing supply ratings, is a hardware change that also affects endurance claims.

    Measuring range, accuracy, protection level and battery endurance apply only to the model and configuration under test; specifications from a similar model are not reused.

  • The gas monitor is not a safety device

    The LPG monitor reports cylinder level. It is not a gas leak detector, pressure regulator or certified safety alarm, and it does not replace local safety requirements.

  • Quantity and timing are per project

    Minimum order quantity is quoted by project and production timing is confirmed per project; nothing here is a standing commitment.

  • Customer identities stay private

    Development cases are described by model and scope only. Buyer names, retail chains and any exclusivity arrangements are not published.

How does an ultrasonic water tank level sensor work?

The sensor mounts on top of the tank and sends an ultrasonic pulse down to the water surface. It measures the echo return time to calculate the distance, then converts it into level and volume shown in the app. Nothing touches the water.

What is the measuring range?

5 cm to 3 m. The sensor must be installed no more than 3 m above the maximum water surface, with a mounting hole of approximately 71 mm.

Does it need Wi-Fi?

Yes. It connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) and pairs via Bluetooth 5.2 in the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. 5 GHz-only networks are not supported.

What is the difference between LS0311 and LS0312?

LS0311 is mains powered through the included 5 V / 1 A voltage converter for continuous monitoring. LS0312 is battery powered and samples the water level every 10 seconds, for tanks without a power outlet nearby.
